Wander Cuppa was started in Cumbernauld by Diana and David, who always brought tea home from their travels, just for themselves and took their inspiration from those trips. Every tea is inspired by a place, a journey or a favourite moment, with names like Edinburgh Dusk and Kinross Fields, and all are hand packed by the couple.

Bothy Hearth was inspired by a stay in a caravan in the Scottish Highlands, where a little fireplace gave Diana and David the idea for a warming spiced green tea that captures the feeling of a cosy fireside. It was first selected as a finalist from hundreds of entries across the UK, judged by a panel of chefs and food experts, and has now been awarded Bronze.

The Tea category also included finalists from some of the UK's best known tea names, among them Birchall Tea, Dorothy's Teas, Lidl, Suki Tea Makers and Lake District Tea.

Diana said: "Imagine stumbling upon a new favourite tea while wandering through a quiet market. That kind of discovery, warm, unexpected, memorable, is exactly what we want every cuppa to feel like. To have Bothy Hearth recognised alongside such talented producers means so much to us."

Wander Cuppa teas are available at wandercuppa.co.uk, at stockists across Scotland and at markets across central Scotland. All the teas are vegan friendly and made with ethically sourced ingredients.
