Kinrara Distillery is celebrating a landmark year at the 2026 World Drinks Awards held in London, securing the prestigious title of World’s Best Gin Design and sweeping an impressive series of category wins across its Artist and Distiller Edition gins.

These accolades are some of the strongest to date for the brand and reinforces the distillery’s reputation for excellence in both traditional craftsmanship and creative expression.

Kinrara’s Artist Edition collection has been honoured with the globally coveted World’s Best Gin Design award. This recognition celebrates the distillery’s distinctive collaboration with local artists and its commitment to transforming each bottle into a piece of unique artwork.

From hand‑painted elements to the intricate, organic water‑transfer process, every detail reflects Kinrara’s refusal to compromise on design quality. Following last year’s gold medal for design, the team is thrilled to now hold the title of Best in the World. The brand collaborates with a Dundee based illustrator Kat Baxter on the designs where all the botanicals that are used in the gin recipe are depicted in the design. Also incorporated in the artwork is a piece of the Kinrara Distillery tweed.

Alongside the global design win, Kinrara secured four Gold medals and four Country Best awards, demonstrating exceptional performance across multiple gin styles:

  • Caper – Artist Edition – Gold & Country Best Botanical Gin
  • Ginny – Artist Edition – Gold & Country Best Classic Gin
  • Struan – Artist Edition – Gold & Country Best Contemporary Gin
  • Wild Juniper – Distiller Edition – Gold & Country Best Genever Gin

These achievements highlight Kinrara Distillery’s versatility and mastery across traditional, contemporary, and botanical gin categories.

Kinrara Distillery Director Rebecca Sims said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised on the world stage across so many categories. Winning World’s Best Gin Design is a testament to the creative partnerships behind our Artist Editions, while the Gold and Country Best medals reflect the dedication of our distilling and the purity of our Highland provenance.

"Having received the title of World’s Best Botanical Gin last year for Caper, it is incredibly rewarding to see our portfolio continue to shine globally and the demand for the product reaching every part of the world.”
